Leila liebt das Motorrad!
Habe mir eine alte Cb350 gekauft. Leila liebt das Motorrad. Sie redet nachts davon bevor sie schlafen geht.
Heute habe ich sie drauf sitzen lassen und es anmachen lassen!

Cub scout camp Millersylvania
Und hier ein paar bilder vom Campen. Wir hatten ein Riesenglueck und sehr schoenes warmes Wetter. In vorherigen Jahren hatten wir in Millersylvania auch schon Schnee. Nicht dieses Jahr. Es gab viel draussen Zeit mit spielen und Wettkaepmfen, Fahrradfahren und tolles Essen (ich war ja auch head of foodcommittee).
Die Kinder haben selber Lunch gemacht.
Was braucht man alles an Meterial um Kinder drei Stunden lang zu beschaeftigen bis sie totmuede sind?

Recap: Berghaus
This year we were members of the Berghaus for the firt time. Founded by crafty Germans in the early 70's, it started out as part of a charter package for visitors to go skiing at Snoqualmie pass. there used to be a lift that went straight up to the house, but a landslide took that out in 2007.
It's situated just off the slopes, with a complete Austrian "einkehr stube" and "apres ski" feel. It's awesome.

Me, and of course Milo and his friends at the top of Alpental. There is this awesome sign to get to the top of this mountain that reads "there is no easy way down. Experts only". The kids were very excited!

Christmas at the Berghaus with the wonderful, large tree.
It snows like crazy. On this particular weekend, we had massive snow.
These last two pictures took jumping the rope to get back to the house right after night skiing. the kids were very excited. We had to hike up a bit to make the crossover to east, then ride through the forest in the dark, all not officially sanctioned moves.
