The kids played an April fool's prank on me today.

I get home from work and they had made an awesome Vegan Brownie with blueberry for me! It was a little odd because they were giggling a little and holding postcards in front of his mouth.
I asked what was up and Milo said Leila had done this funny thing that cause him to chuckle.

I get out a fork and try to eat the brownie, but it turned out it was sponge drenched in blueberry jam with chocolate chips on it! hahaha, very funny it looked totally real. they laughed hard and were very excited.


The funny part later Melissa told me leading up to the prank was that they were trying to find ways to contain their laughter.
Milo:"I am just going to hold this tissue in front of my face so Dad can't see me laughing."
Milo:"I'll just tell him I had a serious lip injury."
Milo:"Forget about the lip injury. Just tell him I am drunk."

Watson's been having issues making it to the bathroom on time. Melissa takes him to the doctor.

Doctor:"Okay, so we're going to have to give you this powder that will help you poop better."
Watson (excited):"Oh no, does that mean I have to take Psyllium Husk now?"

They were playing on the computer. Suddenly the network goes down and Watson is pissed that he can't watch cartoonnetwork on the computer.
He's figured out that he can just type "c" and the browser will usually autocomplete to cartoonnetwork.com.

So I restart the modem. Watson keeps complaining that it's not working. So I go check, and on the screen he had typed into the search bar (instead of the address bar):

"cartonnetwrc" - his best guess spelling of cartoonnetwork!

On our way back from the boyscouts. Both kids were with me.

Me, singing: "Meine kleinen babies, sind so winzig klein."
Milo and Watson in concert:"Halt die klappe!"

I kept singing. they were getting mad:

Milo:"Too bad I can't think of anything stronger to say than 'shut up'"
Watson:"I can. 'Fuck to the side!'"

St Paddy's Day 2010

Today was St. Paddy's day and there was of course the St Patrick's Day Dash at the Seattle Center. The race for the kids started at 8:00 am, and since daylight savings just started it was 7:00am for real. So I got the kids and Melissa up at 7:15 (which was really 6:15) to go for a run! Oh were they joyous, especially after a particularly hard partying night for Milo and Watson with a special presentation of Watson until late at night coming down to our room again and again pleading to sleep with us.

But they did great! They ran ganz tapfer the entire 1K of the Leprechaun Dash. They did really well! I did the 4 mile dash in about 28 minutes which was OK.

We were hanging out at B&O, where we had Breakfast after the dash. I almost moved into the apartment across the street nearly 11 years ago!
