Wir sind zum spielplatz gegangen. beide kinder. auf dem rueckweg hat der milo seine hand in meine tasche getan, wo mein iPod nano war. Er hat reingefasst und gesagt:

Milo: "Papa, was ist in deiner tasche?"

ich:"Das ist mein iPod Touch" - war es ja gar nicht.

Milo:"Papa, das stimmt nicht. was ist das?"

Ich wollte wissen wie sehr die beregnung durch werbung bei ihm funktioniert:

ich :"Was glaubst du was das ist?"

Milo:"hmm. kein iPod touch. das ist ein iPod button."

Watson:"Papa, du hast einen iPod Butt."

Der letzte Schnee in Seattle!

Was war das fuer ein scheiss Maerz und April dieses Jahr. Schnee. tonnenweise. freitag, anfang april, bin ich mit dem Rad nach hause und dann im schneesturm mit platten steckengeblieben. was habe ich nur in eine frueheren leben angestellt?

Oma: ja, ich bin alt.
Watson: Oma, musst du auch bald sterben?
Oma: ja, ich muss dann auch bald sterben.
Watson: Dann kann ich dich doch auch toeten.

Ein tag am meer und noch ein florida rentner

So. Heute waren wir am Strand und ich habe die Kamera mal nicht vergessen. Die Kinder haben stundenlang im Wasser rumgezappelt, und wir haben auch eine wunderbare Einstellung vom Opa bei seiner Interpretierung des Rentnerlebens.

Milo: Kann ich wassermelone haben?
Papa: Nur wenn ihr auch was vernuenftiges esst.
Milo walks away.
Watson: Kann ich auch eine *wasserkanone* haben?

He must have thought watermelon was a water canon!

Watson: "Papa, ich will apple juice"
Lutz: "Du kannst apfelsaft haben, du musst aber auf deutsch fragen."
Watson:"Ich habe keine Ahnung wie man das sage"
Papa:"Geh Milo fragen wie man das sagt."
Watson (zu Milo)"How do you say Apfelsaft...." pause, and cracks up laughing.

Disney World

Rima, Watson, Milo, and I went to Disney World today. It was hot, crowded, and crazy. but the kids would say it was worth it. I call it hell though. It's hot, it's humid, and it's busting at the seams.
So they thought it would be super cool to show two thumbs up for disney world in a couple of pictures. kind of reminds me of Borat.

Opa dutifully acting retired

Heute sind Oma, Watson, und Milo ich ein/zwei stunden zum boardwalk gegangen. auf dem weg zurueck dachte ich mir, ich parke das auto einen halben block weg und schleiche mich mit kamera an, um zu sehen was der Opa denn so macht wenn keiner da ist. und? irgendwelche fragen?

UW campus, cherries in bloom

We finally got a day when it wasn't raining during the two week period when the cherries are in bloom. Wonderful sight indeed, I recommend going there to check it out.
